Four Fundamental Fall Services for a "Picture Perfect" Yard

Even though summer officially ended a month ago and fall began, the Mississippi heat still continues to show itself. But with the leaves starting to fall and November creeping up on us, I can only hope that the cooler temperatures and a crisp breeze will be appearing shortly. With that said, here are the services I currently offer in October-November and why they are necessary for a Picture Perfect yard:

- Leaf removal. Allow me to state the obvious: NO ONE LIKES TO RAKE LEAVES. Not only does leaf cleanup increase the value and look of your home, it also helps prevent the growth of fungus in your yard, which decreases your chance of having dead grass when spring arrives!

- Adding/Replacing Mulch. Mulching soil that is exposed to the elements helps protect plants from the winter's chill.

- Trimming/Covering Bushes. Our Mississippi winters are not usually that harsh, but should God bless us with snow this year, call me to protect your bushes and plants with tarps and coverings so that the chill does not get to them!

- Flowerbed Cleanup. Trimming any annuals you have to the ground entices their roots to store up energy and maximizes growth come springtime.
